The Green Flag is Ready to Drop for Race Number 2 at Latrobe
Latrobe, PA (May 24, 2023) The Big Half-Mile is ready for only its second race of 2023.
With only one race in the books, Latrobe Speedway hopes for a dry stretch of weather for the next several weeks.
This Saturday, Relay for Life Fayette County will be at the track for a night of racing and raising funds for the American Cancer Society.
The K2 Engineering Crate Late Models will head the card as they prepare for the upcoming Jesse Sterbutzel Memorial Race, a 40-lap feature paying $10,000 to win on June 3. A Chinese Auction will be held by the Sterbutzel family as baskets will be raffled off with proceeds going to Jeese’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
The Bowers Farms RaceSaver 305 Sprints from the Allegheny Sprint Tour and the Laurel Highlands Sprint Series will return for their second visit. Also appearing will be the Joe’s Body Shop & Towing Pure Stocks, the Special T Metals LLC Modified 4 Cylinders, and the Marilungo Disposal LLC Strictly Stock 4 Cylinders.
General Admission prices for FAST-FIVE racing are; Adults: $15, Seniors: $12, Military: $10, Kids 7-11: $10, and Kids 6 and under are always free.
PIT Gate prices; Adults:$35, and Youth: $20.
PIT Gates open at 4 p.m., the Grandstands at 5 p.m., and FAST-FIVE Racing at 7.
