Saturday April 22nd Race CANCELLED

UNITY TWP, PA- Rain overnight and a forecast of rain and decreasing temperatures today, April 22, has forced Latrobe Speedway officials to cancel the Opening Night racing program.

“You get only one Opening Night each season, and we want ours to be a good one without the threat of having to cancel during the racing program,” SNB Promotions Dennis Bates said.

Opening Night – Take 2 – will be Saturday, April 29, 2023, with the Fast Five program featuring the K2 Engineering Crate Late Models,
the Pro Stocks, Joe’s Body Shop Pure Stocks, the Speciality Metals Modified 4 Cylinders, and debuting our new class, the Dean Pollock Hobby Stocks.

A Bonus will be given to the Dean Pollock Hobby Stock feature winner if the winning Hobby Stock has a paint/wrap scheme of a Retro NASCAR race car.

The Pit Gates will open at 4 p.m., the Grandstands at 5 p.m., with Racing at 7.
