Penn/Ohio Pro Stocks to the schedule for Saturday, July 1

LATROBE, PA (June 25, 2023) Unfortunately, Latrobe Speedway Officials regret to announce that the 410 Winged Sprint Car portion of our FAST- FIVE Racing Saturday show scheduled for July 1 has been canceled.

However, the FIREWORKS are still on, and we’ve added the Penn/Ohio Pro Stocks to the schedule for Saturday, July 1, and Saturday, August 26.

Also on the card will be the K2 Engineering Crate Late Models, the Joe’s Auto Body & Towing Pure Stocks, the Special T Metals LLC Modified 4 Cylinders, and the Dean Pollock Hobby Stocks debut.

The July 1 cancellation is the season’s second 410 Winged Sprint Cars cancellation at Latrobe Speedway (August 26 was recently canceled). The $3,000 to-win and $350 to-start features were originally scheduled at the Big Half-Mile at Latrobe Speedway with the other Fast Five Racing divisions.

There aren’t enough Winged 410 Sprint Cars in the area to supply two tracks adequately on the same night. Latrobe Speedway is a Saturday night track, and when we saw that the Saturday Sprint Cars tracks were off or not running 410s, we jumped at the chance. Unfortunately, our loyal fans will miss out on the most requested event of the season.

General Admission prices for FAST-FIVE racing are; Adults: $15, Seniors: $12, Military: $12, Kids 7-11: $10, and Kids 6 and under are always free.

PIT Gate prices; Adults:$35, and Youth: $15.

PIT Gates open at 4 p.m., the Grandstands at 5 p.m., and FAST-FIVE Racing at 7.

The Latrobe Speedway Kidz Klub will tour the Pits on Saturday before hot laps. Go to www.latrobemotorsports.com and click the Kidz Klub tab for the registration form if your child still needs to be signed up.
