Latrobe Speedway Fall Fest Night 1, Pre-Race Release for Friday, September 20
LATROBE, PA (September 17, 2024): Night 1 of Fall Fest will be a ground-pounding event as the BRP Mod Tour returns for a 35-lap feature with a $2,500 prize for the winner. The feature will be based on the results of the eight-lap Heat races. Fourteen of the top sixteen in points have perfect attendance. Points are awarded for perfect attendance. Forty-nine points separate first from third. Erick Rudolph leads Garrett Krummert and Rex King Jr going into the penultimate race for the BRP Tour. The tour points end Saturday at the Sharon Speedway because of a rainout at the Lou Blaney Memorial.
Night 1 will also feature the Rick Frazee Memorial for the K2 Engineering FASTrak Pro Late Models. The 40-lap feature will pay lap money along with $5,000 to the winner. There are a few rule changes from the weekly program. The Frazee Memorial for the Crate Late Models will be open to all competitors and will be an open tire rule race, no matter which sanction you are declared to run under. RUSH competitors can run the RUSH E-85 fuel, and the FASTrak competitors can run the FASTrak legal E-85 fuel.
Once again, Race One will handle the technical inspection of all Crate Late Models. Competitors need to be familiar with the rules of the sanctioning body they identify with.
The Frazee family will also conduct a Basket Raffle.
The Special T Metals LLC Modified Four Cylinders, the Marilungo Disposal LLC Strictly Stock Four Cylinders and the Dean Pollock Hobby Stocks will also be on the card. All divisions will feature an increased purse.
