Latrobe Speedway Blue Collar Night Winners Celebrate

Latrobe, PA (AUG 11, 2024): On Saturday, August 10, it was Blue Collar Night at Latrobe Speedway, with four divisions of racing plus Kids’ Bike races. The Crown Vic Series was also added to the program as an exhibition that ran with the Hobby Stocks.

The feature winners were Jeremy Zufall (Joe’s Body Shop & Towing Pure Stocks), Colton McNaney (Special T-Metals Mod 4 Cylinders), Seth Nedrow (Marilungo Disposal LLC Strictly Stock 4 Cylinders), Bryan Hensel (Dean Pollock Hobby Stocks), and Jake Waugh in the Crown Vic Exhibition race.

The biggest winners were the kids who participated in the bike races!

In Joe’s Body Shop & Towing Pure Stock feature, EJ Rozak made his return felt right away. All feature long, Rozak put pressure on Jeremy Zufall, and it all came down to the end as the duo came out of the final turn. Rozak got into Zufall’s left rear, which turned the No. 1 sideways. Rozak made contact again with Zufall, this time in the left front area of the No. 1. Faris brought out the caution, then Rozak had a right front tire go down, which ended his night. Matt Weltz just didn’t have enough to challenge Zufall for the Green-White-Checkered flag. Third went to Brad Koteles; fourth was John Cain, and fifth to John Hollis. Rozak and Breaden Dillinger won the Heat races.

In the Special T Metals Modified Four Cylinders, Colton McNaney picked up the win after the 62 of Jeremy Grubbs failed post-race inspection. McNaney chased Grubbs the entire feature but could not catch the 62.

Paul Koffler III started on the pole, but a flat tire ended his chances of winning. Andrew Jones in the 513 came from the fifth starting spot to finish second. Third was the 24 of Tifani McElhose from tenth, fourth to Joe Jacobs, and fifth to Brian Spangler. Koffler III, Jeremy Grubbs, and newcomer Wayne Brenize were Heat race winners.

Seth Nedrow started on the Marilungo Disposal LLC Strictly Stock Four Cylinder feature pole, but Dylan Nedrow started on the outside and led until he got a flat on lap 5. Seth took the lead on lap six and never relinquished it. Justin (Double Duty) Connors was second, followed by Bud Lawver, Brian Noel, and Jimmy Love. Seth and Dylan Nedrow won the Heat races.

Bryce Hensel won over Scott Casto and Rick Dean in the Dean Pollock Hobby Stocks.

In an exhibition race, the Crown Vics were blended in with the Hobby Stocks, and Jake Waugh’s 54 won their portion of the program.
