****FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE****
FAST-FIVE RACING AT LATROBE SPEEDWAY CANCELED FOR
SATURDAY, AUG 31
Latrobe, PA (August 31, 2024): Racing at Latrobe Speedway has been canceled for Saturday, August 31, due to a forecast of thunderstorms and potential flash flooding.
For the ninth time this season, weekly FAST-FIVE racing has been canceled due to weather. We also lost a race because of a lack of Fire and EMS coverage and three practice sessions in April.
“Unfortunately, the weather forecast of heavy Thunderstorms and possible Flash Flooding has left us no choice but to cancel the final points race of the season,” said SNB Promotions Dennis Bates.
Please check back for further information on points.
Latrobe Speedway will return to action on Friday, September 20, with the first night of Fall Fest with the BRP Big Block Modifieds heading up the card. Then, on Saturday, September 21, it’s the Ron Schmucker Memorial for the ULMS Super Late Models.
The Championship point standings have been posted on the website.
