Fall Fest Five Gets Closer
****FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE****
Fall Fest Five Gets Closer
Latrobe, PA (September 8, 2024): As the season turns toward fall, the anticipation for Latrobe Speedways annual Fall Fest grows.
Fall Fest Five kicks off on Friday, September 20, with the BRP Modified Tour as the headline division. Those Ground Pounding Big Block Modifieds would close their season at Latrobe in September. Still, the pesky weather forced another track to cancel, thus making the appearance at Latrobe Speedway the penultimate date on the BRP schedule for 2024. Erick Rudolph (25) leads Garrett Krummert (29) by 31 points with two races remaining. Rex King Jr (165) is a close third, only 18 points back from Krummert. Fifteen of the top sixteen competitors have perfect attendance, which also counts in the point standings.
Qualifying, Heat races, and B-mains (if necessary) for the K2 Engineering FASTrak Pro Late Models Rick Frazee Memorial will be run on Friday, with only the feature to race on Saturday. The Marilungo Disposal LLC Strictly Stock 4 Cylinders are on the card with the addition of another division TBD.
On Saturday, September 21, the ULMS Racing Series Super Late Models return for the Ron Schmucker Memorial $5,000 to-win feature. Michael Lake holds an 80-point lead over Login Zarin going into a race on September 13.
The Joe’s Body Shop & Towing Pure Stocks, along with Special T-Metals Modified 4 Cylinders, the Rick Frazee Memorial for the K2 Engineering FASTrak Pro Late Models, and a division TBD will fill out the card for the final night of Fall Fest Five.
