2019 ENDURO CARS

2019 ENDURO RACE RULES

·         Each race will be 100 laps, 2 hours or down to last car running, whichever comes first.

·         Starting position will be computer generated.

·         Each driver must provide their own scoring spotter. It is highly recommended the spotter be at least 16 years old. Scorers are a very important part of the race and must be focused on their car the entire race! If you do not have your own scorer, you will not be allowed to compete in the race.

·         Track will also supply official scorers, and their decisions will be final.

Car registration $25.00, Pit Passes $25.00 each. General admission $10.00, kids 5 and under are free.

NO radios or push-to-talk devices may be used to communicate with driver, this includes cell phones. No means of communication between driver/crew or anyone during the race. If you are caught, it will result in disqualification.  There is NO practice for this event.

1.   SAFETY: The following equipment is MANDATORY:

·       Full face helmet

·       Long sleeve shirt or jacket/Fire suit recommended

·       Gloves

·       Leather Boots

·       B Piller Cross Bar with halo/4 pt cage recommended

·       Fire extinguisher mounted on floor within drivers reach

·       Racing approved shoulder harness and lap belts are recommended. Racing seats are allowed

2.   CAR & BODY: Absolutely NO race cars allowed in this event! That would include any car running in any division at any race track in the PAST and PRESENT. THIS RACE IS FOR STOCK CARS ONLY.

·         Any 1960 or newer 2-door or 4-door car is eligible. NO vans, NO convertibles, NO four wheel drives. NO jeep type vehicles.

·         Trucks will only be permitted to be 2 wheel drive. If four-wheel drive, front drive shaft must be removed!

·         Cars may be rear or front wheel drive. 4, 6, 8 cylinder engines are ok. PLEASE NOTE: engines must be compatible to the year and model of vehicle being driven. Example: If car came with several engine options, you are allowed to use any one of the options. However, is a 4 cylinder car only came with a 4 cylinder, you can’t put a V-6 in it.

·         NO TURBOS OR SUPERCHARGERS!!

·          Gutting of factory interior panels allowed. However, all doors must be braced with door bars for reinforcement. Anywhere panels have been removed must be covered with foam material to prevent lacerations if an accident occurs.

·         NO bracing in the bumper areas. However, bumpers need to be chained or cabled as a safety item to help retain the bumper.

·         All doors must be welded, chained or bolted shut.

·         Windshield must be removed! Must have 3 vertical bars on windshield opening spaced evenly to support safety screen! Bars must be covered completely with safety screen that covers the entire windshield area. Side and rear window glass must be removed. All mirrors must be removed.

·         Window safety nets are MANDATORY on the driver’s side.

·         The rear seat shelf must be left in as a fire stop and any openings to the trunk area must be enclosed with sheet metal, and secured by rivets or screws!

·         Complete bumper to bumper steel frame and uni-body must be retained. NO lighting allowed.

·         The stock steel unaltered floor pans, firewalls, trunk and wheel wells must be retained.

·         Cars must retain their strictly stock appearance, no cutting, chopping, channeling

or shortening allowed. Hood must be kept in place at all times. Front hood pins are recommended or chained/bolted, with 2-8” access holes in hood.

·         Gas tanks must be original and in stock location. If area where gas tank is located is rusted through, a fuel cell is allowed in its place, or in back seat area. If using fuel cell, must use injection line.

·          A rupture of your gas tank and/or loss of gas will require an immediate Black Flag.

·         1/8” skid plate is recommended under stock fuel tank.

·         If using fuel cell must, use fuel injection line.

·         Batteries need to be placed on the floor behind the passenger seat and in a securely fastened, covered plastic or rubber container. Must have master switch that can be reached from outside, mounted on passenger A side post.

·         All plastic grills must be removed or replaced with screen mesh. Headlights, tail lights and their trim must be removed. All outer trim must be removed.

3.   CAR NUMBERS: Must be displayed on the roof and both doors. Number must be a minimum of 18” tall. Numbers must be painted on with bright contrasting color. BRING YOUR OWN PAINT!! If your number is not clearly readable from scorers tower, your car may not be scored.

4.   SUSPENSION: Suspension parts must remain absolutely stock for that make and model car. NO spacers, lumber or chains, etc. May be used to alter stock suspension of that car.

5.   WHEELS: Stock steel or original equipment aluminum wheels only.

6.   TIRES: DOT legal tires must pass thru a 9 inch hoop at the bulge. THIS WILL BE ENFORCED ON ALL ENTRIES INCLUDING PICK UP TRUCKS. NO gumball tires. NO “DOT” stamped racing tires. NO truck tires, NO all-terrain tires, NO mud tires, NO treated tires, NO winter tires. NO STAGGERING OF TIRE SIZES. ALL TIRES MUST BE THE SAME.

7.   FLAT TIRES: You must enter the pit area to change a flat.

8.   WEIGHT: NO additional weight may be added to the car.

9.   ENGINE: The engines must be strictly stock for that make and model and in the original motor mounts.

·       NO aftermarket external oil coolers.

·        A/C and heat components as well as smog equipment may be removed.

·       COLD AIR INTAKES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED!

·       Catalytic converters are allowed to be removed. Original or stock replacement exhaust system.

·       NO aftermarket headers allowed. NO straight pipes. Exhaust must exit behind drivers seat.    

·       NO locked rears.

10.                     TRANSMISSION: Stock transmission and rear end only. NO aftermarket external oil coolers.

11.                     RADIATORS: ONLY one radiator can be used. Radiator must remain in original position, no coolant or gas lines in the driver area of the car, without encased in steel pipe. NO ANTIFREEZE ALLOWED.

NOTE: ALL RULES (OR INTERPRETATION THEREOF) WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TRACK OFFICIALS. ALL TRACK OFFICIALS WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHECK YOUR CAR AT ANYTIME, FOR ANY REASON.  ALL TRACK OFFICIALS DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

IF IT DOESN’T SAY YOU CAN’T DO IT- IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN DO IT!!

2019 4 CYLINDER

2019 Official Four Cylinder Rules 

A. Safety: 
1. Driver must wear full face racing helmet with full face shield. 
2. A flame resistant fire suit, gloves and collar (neck brace) are mandatory. 
3. A flame resistant shoe is recommended, however driver may wear some type of leather boot. No sneakers ect. 
4. Racing type seat is required and must be securely mounted to roll cage.
5. Required is a quick release racing harness of a five point (minimum) design. Belts may not be more than three years old and must be securely mounted to the rollcage. DO NOT mount harness to the floor. 

6.Windshield must be covered with steel mesh and have a minimum of three vertical bars in front of driver. 

7. A quick release net is required on driver’s side window. 

8. Car must have a functioning ABC type fire extinguisher. Unit must have an operating gauge, and be mounted within driver’s reach. 
9. Required is a master cut off switch. It must be clearly marked and mounted on the dash to the left of steering wheel. 
10. All cars shall have properly working brakes at each wheel. Brakes must remain stock for vehicle being used. 
11. Raceceivers are Mandatory using UHF Frequency
Channel 454.000


B. Chassis / Body 
1. Any front wheel drive vehicle with front mounted engine. 
2. No SUVs, Jeeps, or trucks permitted.
3. Car must weigh a minimum of 1500 lbs. All weight ballasts must display car # and be painted white. Must be mounted with minimum of ½ inch grade five bolts. 
4. All combustible material must be removed from vehicle. 
5. All glass,lights, mirrors,trim, and so forth shall be removed. 
6. All doors must be welded,chained, or bolted shut. 
7. Hood and trunk lid must be secured with steel pins. 
8. Firewall must remain and all holes sealed. 
9. Trunk area must be closed off from driver compartment. 
10. Mandatory are tow hooks constructed of chain or wire rope only. Must be securely mounted front and rear and easily accessible. Hooks must be capable of supporting the weight of the car. 

C. Roll Cage: 
1. Mandatory is a minimum of a four point design. 
2. All tubing must be at least one and one half inch O.D. with a wall thickness of .095. 
3. Must have a minimum of three outward arched bars at driver’s door. These bars must be plated front to back, and top to bottom with a minimum of one eighth inch steel plate. 
4. Two bars or an X brace is required at passenger door. 
5. Halo must be two inches above driver’s head.
6. Must be tied to rear frame and anchored solid. 
7. All joints must be completely welded and gusseted. 
8. Any tubing that may come in contact with driver shall be padded. 

D. Engine: 
1. Must be a four cylinder. 
2. No VTECH motors permitted.
3. No turbo or superchargers. 
4. No nitrous. 
5. Cold air intake is permitted.
6. Open to modifications, however, any engine swaps are manufacturer specific. Meaning engine and vehicle manufacturer are the same. 

E. Suspension: 
1. No weight jacks or weight transferring systems. 
2. No means of rear wheel steering. 
3. Open to modifications.

F. Tires:
1. All tires must have a D.O.T. stamp. 
2. No racing tires permitted. 
3. No winter/snow tires 
4. No retreaded tires 
5. No siping/grooving permitted. 
6. Tires may not be larger than OEM. Meaning if OEM wheel is 15 inch you can not run a 16 inch wheel. 
7. Minimum tire width is six inches. 
8. Maximum tire width is eight inches. 
9. Tires may not protrude more than two inches beyond the outside of fenders. 

G. Wheels:
1. Wheels must be OEM size for vehicle. 
2. All wheels must be of same size. 
3. Absolutely NO modifications of any kind. 
4. No beadlocks. 
5. All wheels must be fastened with open steel lugnuts. 
6. Racing wheels are permitted. 
7. Aluminum alloy wheels permitted as long as they are OEM for vehicle being used.

 H. Electrical: 
1. Required is a master cut off switch. It must be clearly marked and mounted on the dash to the left of steering wheel. 
2. Battery must remain in stock location. 
3. Must have a working alternator.

 I. Fuel System:
1. A fuel cell is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but not mandatory.
2. Any fuel line routed through the interior of the car must be encased in steel tubing. 
3. If using a stock fuel tank it must remain in stock location. Must be protected with a steel skid plate with a minimum thickness of one eighth inch. Plate must cover entire tank side to side and front to back. It shall also extend upward towards floorboard as to protect the front of the tank.


2019 PURE STOCKS

OFFICIAL 2019 PURE/HOBBY/STRICTLY STOCK RULES


1. GENERAL
• This division is open to any North American made rear wheel drive passenger car or mid-size truck 1955 to present. 
• NO Jeeps, 4 Wheel Drives, Front Wheel Drives, Compacts, Convertibles, T-Tops, ¾ or 1 Ton Trucks, or Dual Wheels.
• The make and model must be factory specifications and dimensions.
• Wheel base must be in accordance of factory specifications, right side and left side for that make of car.
• NO cars with less than 105" wheelbase will be permitted.


2. SAFETY
• Must have a functional fire extinguisher or halon system with working pressure gauge securely mounted within drivers reach.
• Raceceivers are Mandatory using UHF Frequency
Channel 454.000
• Window nets are required on driver's side.
• Must have 5 point racing seat belts and replaced every 3 years.
• Seat belts must be mounted to the roll cage or frame of car. "No floorboard mounts".
• Must have a high backed racing seat and a functional padded head support.
• Driver's seat must be securely mounted in its original position with at least 6 "grade 5" 3/8 inch bolts. No floorboard mounts set back seats or fiberglass seats.
• Full face racing helmet is required snell or dot approved.
• Flame resistant racing suit, gloves , hood, neck collar, and shoes are highly recommended.


3. BODY
• All glass, lights, lenses, chrome strips, and grill must be removed.
• Doors must be welded shut.
• Aftermarket steel or aluminum or steel stock appearing bodies permitted.
• NO roof raking.
• NO spoilers.
• NO bracing outside the body is permitted.
• Each car must have sufficient screening 1 ½“ x 1 ½“ holes minimum replacing the windshield. (with a minimum of three 3/8 inch steel vertical support bars behind the screen)


4. APPEARANCE
• Acceptable appearance of the car is up to the discretion of the Officials and can be refused the right to race due to its appearance.
• Officials reserve the right to request body or sheet metal be replaced and painted if it has any sharp edges or is not looking presentable to the sport.
• Cars must be painted and numbered in a legible, highly visible, and acceptable manner.
• Numbers must be at least 18" high and 2" wide and any letter must be 9" high.
• All numbers and letter must be a contrasting color with the car color.
• Duplicate numbers will be modified. The car number will go to the first car registered for the season with that number.
• Car number must also be in the upper right corner of the windshield area and left rear tail light area in 4" number for track line up purposes.


5. INTERIOR
• Car must be gutted of all burnables in the interior.
• Must have completely enclosed fire walls with no open holes
• Fire wall can be replaced either in its original location 
• NO wind tunnels or other aerodynamic fins or louvers permitted.

• Absolutely no mirrors or reflective devices permitted.
• Fire extinguisher or Halo system mandatory.
• Quick release steering wheel is mandatory.


6. FRAME
• NO altering or mismatching of frames.
• Frames must be intact and not rusted out.
• NO fabricated frames except for uni-body cars.
• Tubing is permitted in rear section of frame for fuel cell to be mounted.
• If manufactured without a full frame, front and rear frame sections must be tied together.
• Uni-body cars only, a homemade frame may be constructed using steel rectangular tubing only. With a minimum specification of 2" x 3" .120 wall thickness. (The 3" dimension must be in the vertical position if using this option. It must start at the rear of the front stock O.E.M. subframe and continue all the way back to the front of the O.E.M. rear subframe. Springs and locating bars for rear end will be measured and compared to stock specifications for legality. The proper construction of this frame option on welds, cross members, roll cage, and brace tie-ins will be up to the discretion of the officials.


7. ROLL CAGE
• 1 ½" O.D. Seamless tubing with a minimum of .095 wall thickness is highly recommended.
• Must be at least 4 post design with minimum of 3 horizontal door bars per side.
• Roll cage must be securely welded to the frame and gusseting to frame is highly recommended.
• The driver's side door should have 4 with at least 2 vertical bars between each door bar. Door bars must arch outward to door skin.
• It is highly recommended that the driver's side door be plated with 1/8" aluminum or 1/16" steel plate from top door bar to bottom of frame.
• Roll cage should be "X" braced behind the driver.
• Roll cage should extend above the drivers head with a minimum of 2" clearance above helmeted head.
• Should have a minimum of one cross bar in top halo of roll cage.
• Front and rear hoops are highly recommended, but must remain behind the body.
• NO offset cages or set back cages. Set back will be determined with a measurement rear end center line and main cage rear hoop center line. This distance must not be less than 23 inches.
• Cars must contain shock resistant roll bar padding on all bars within 18" of the driver's body (extended arms, legs, head, etc.)
• NO screw-type fittings permitted.


8. STEERING
• Collapsible steering shaft highly recommended.
• Quick release steering wheel mandatory.
• Steering quickeners are permitted.
• Aftermarket Stock appearing steering box permitted.
• Aftermarket center link permitted.
• Aftermarket tie rods and sleeves permitted.
• NO rack and pinion steering permitted. (Exception being Ford Rangers and Dodge Dakotas that where factory produced with a rack and pinion.)


9. FRONT SUSPENSION
• All suspension, shocks, and components must match car.
• Shocks must be in stock location and stock mount.
• Aftermarket tubular upper A-arms permitted.
• Aftermarket lower A-arms permitted (Must be stock length.)
• NO weight jacks of any kind permitted.


10. REAR SUSPENSION
• All suspension, shocks, and components must match car.
• Trailing arm mounts, or leaf spring mounts on frame must remain unaltered and in stock location with one mounting hole only.
• Aftermarket non-adjustable trailing arms permitted (Must be stock length with stock diameter rubber or poly bushings only.)
• NO heim ends or mono balls permitted.
• Lower trailing arm mounts on rear end may be adjustable.
• Leaf spring cars must have rubber bushings.
• Leaf spring sliders are not permitted.
• Maximum shackle length is 8" and may be adjustable.


11. SHOCKS
• Stock appearing, stock mount, steel body shocks only.
• NO aluminum shocks.
• NO heim end shocks.
• NO adjustable shocks.


12. SPRINGS
• Springs must be in stock location.
• Left front and Right front springs must be same height.
• Left rear and Right rear springs must be same height.
• Max length for rear springs is 16 inches.
• Spring height from front to rear may be different.
• NO stacked springs or progressive rate springs permitted.


13. WEIGHT JACKS
• Only rear weight jacks of any kind are permitted.


14. REAR END
• Ford 9" rear ends allowed.
• Floater rear ends allowed.
• Rear ends must be locked up (No limited slip or any type of traction control permitted.)
• NO Quick change rear ends permitted.


15. DRIVE SHAFT
• Drive shaft must be steel and painted white.
• Drive shaft hoops should be 2" x ¼" 360 degrees and no more than 6" behind the front U-joint.


16. MASTER CYLINDERS
• Dual racing master cylinders are allowed.
• NO brake bias control of any kind permitted.
• NO 3 wheel, left side shut off setups or limiting valves permitted.


17. BRAKES
• Must have operable and effective 4 wheel hydraulic brakes at all times.
• Calipers must be steel and have all the same size pistons.
• NO drilling or lightening of rotors or any other brake components permitted.


18. WHEELS
• Steel wheels only.
• Oversized lug nuts mandatory.
• Maximum diameter of wheel 15".
• Maximum width of wheel 8".
• Bead locks allowed.
• NO bleeder valves permitted.
• NO aluminum, mag, split rims, or wide 5s permitted.


19. TIRES
• E-mod approved American Racer or Hoosier racing tires allowed.
• NO grinding off of specs on sidewall of tire.
• NO winter tread, rough treaded, exotic, trick, or recap tires permitted.


20. BATTERY
• Battery must be securely mounted outside the drives compartment.
• 12 volt systems only (NO 14, 16, or 18 volt systems permitted.


21. STARTER
• All cars must have a working starter and start under their own power.


22. EXHAUST
• Exhaust must exit outside the car.
• Maximum header diameter 1 ¾ inches.
• NO Tri-Y or 180 degree headers permitted.
• Mufflers are recommended.


23. FUEL BLADDERS AND CONTAINERS
• Any approved fuel cell (32 gallon maximum.)
• Cars should have an approved fuel bladder and container that is at least 18 gauge or thicker for the container, with a minimum of 2 hold down straps at least 1/8" thick and a minimum of 1" wide, that are installed parallel to the rear frame rails.
• Must be securely mounted to frame of vehicle in trunk area.
• Tubing is allowed in rear section of frame for the fuel cell to be mounted.
• Container supports should be mounted to the frame rails in a secure manner.
• Any fuel bladder and container extending below the frame should be properly protected by both bars and bracing.
• Bottom of fuel cell must be at least 12" from track.
• Fuel cell should have one way check valve to prevent fuel spillage.
• NO fuel lines inside car unless they are enclosed in a metal pipe or metal tubing for the entire length of the line that runs through the car.


24. FUEL
• Gasoline only.
• NO alcohol, nitrous, or any other fuel additives permitted.


25. FUEL PUMP
• Must have stock style fuel pump ONLY and in stock location.


26. ENGINES
• 350 Chevy, 351 Ford (Windsor only), 360 Chrysler.
• Maximum over bore is .060
• STROKER engines NOT permitted.
• Flat Top - Dish pistons NO Dome pistons allowed!
• NO 400 blocks or aftermarket blocks allowed.
• NO removal of casting numbers or any altercations of numbers permitted.
• GM 602 Crate engine Allowed.
• Crate engine seals must be IMCA, NESMITH, FASTTRACK, RUSH, or "O.E.M." seals.
• GM "O.E.M." bolts only. NO bolts with "RM" markings permitted.


27. CARBURETOR
• Any cars running 350 Chevy, 351 Ford (Windsor only), 360 Chrysler can run any single or dual feed carburetor with vacuum secondary allowed. NO double pumpers.
• 602 crate engines will be allowed to run 750 CFM double pumper with mechanical secondary.
• Minimum of 2 throttle springs required.


28. INTAKE
• Any dual plane intake allowed. (NO porting, polishing, machining, welding, acid etching, or gasket matching.)
• Any 2 barrel intake allowed. (NO porting, polishing, machining, welding, acid etching, or gasket matching.)
• Any 2 barrel adapter on dual plane intake allowed.
• Any 1" adapter or spacer allowed.


29. HEADS
• May run any cast iron head 23 degree head with no modifications to head, must be bolt on O.E.M. or aftermarket replacement. (NO porting, polishing, machining, welding, acid etching.)
• NO Aluminum Heads allowed!


30. ROCKER ARMS
• Roller rockers are allowed. (1.5 or 1.6 ratio rocker arms only.)
• Stud mount rockers only. (NO shaft mount systems unless equipped from the factory.)


31. CAM AND LIFTERS
• Any Cam and Lifter combination allowed! Except Rollers
• Lifters must retain stock O.E.M. diameter for the block.


32. CRANKSHAFT
• Stock or aftermarket crankshafts allowed.
• Crankshaft must maintain stock stroke as manufactured for the block being used.
• NO titanium crankshafts.


33. RODS
• Stock or aftermarket connecting rods allowed.
• NO aluminum or titanium rods.


34. PISTONS
• Flat Top - Dish pistons Allowed NO Dome pistons allowed
• MAXIMUM .060 OVERBORE.


35. ENGINE LOCATION
• Maximum engine set back - #1 spark plug in line with the top ball joint.


36. IGNITION
• Stock O.E.M. distributors and coils only.
• Coil must be in stock location on H.E.I distributors.
• NO crank trigger Ignition systems permitted.
• NO MSD, Mallory, or Accel systems permitted.
• NO dual coil Ignition systems permitted.


37. TRACTION CONTROL
• NO traction control devices of any kind permitted.


38. TRANSMISSION
• Stock type O.E.M. transmission with all working gears including reverse.
• Automatic transmission must have working stock torque converter.
• NO lightening of transmissions permitted.
• ONLY 602 can run Berts, Brinns, or Falcon type transmissions.
• NO in and out boxes or couplers.


39. CLUTCH
• Stock O.E.M. style single clutch disc mounted in stock location, stock flywheel diameter.
• NO drilling or machining for lightening purposes permitted.
• NO aluminum or exotic materials in clutch or flywheel permitted.
• 360 degree blow proof bellhousing is highly recommended for standards and a scatter shield for automatics.
• All bellhousings must have a 1" hole drilled at the bottom of the bell housing for inspections of flywheel, clutch, or torque converter.
• Triple Disc Clutch are allowed. (100 lbs. must be added to car.)


40. WEIGHT
• All cars that do not meet the 358 cubic inch threshold must weigh a minimum of 3,250 lbs w/o triple disc and 3,350 lbs with triple disc.
• All cars that do meet the 358 cubic inch threshold that have been pumped and sealed, will have a weight break. Must weigh a minimum of 3,100 lbs w/o triple disc and 3,200 lbs with triple disc.
• Cars running a 602 crate engine must weigh 2,900 lbs w/o triple disc and 3,000 with triple disc or   Berts, Brinns, or Falcon type transmissions  
• The number of cars to be weighed will vary from week to week and will be notified by the scale master as you exit the track. The officials reserve the right to spot check car weights after any or all of the heat and features.
• TRACK SCALES WILL BE CONSIDERED OFFICIAL.


41. BALLAST
• All weight is to be bolted to frame only outside of the drivers area.
• All weight must have (2) grade 5 or 8 bolts securing the weight to the frame.
• All weight must be painted white with the car number on the weight.


42. PENALTIES
• Any car found to be illegal will be disqualified!
• Any driver not reporting to scales or tech when requested will be disqualified!
• Any driver or car owner refusing inspection or tear down will be disqualified!
• Any driver, car owner, or race team arguing or fighting in tech or at the scales will be disqualified!

2018 PENN OHIO PRO STOCK RULES COMPETING MODELS: Open to any American made passenger car, no torsion bar cars, no convertibles, no station wagons, trucks or vans, no front wheel drive or 4-WD’s, sports cars or compact cars. Vehicles not covered under these exclusions do not mean they are pro stock material. Consult technical inspector as to the legality of the vehicle before building. Some models may not be included in the above exclusions. To avoid disappointment and expense, we suggest you check with tech inspector before you build a car. The transponder must be mounted on the right rear frame rail of the chassis 12” behind the rear axle tube.

SAFETY RULES

 1. All cars are subject to inspection at any time and must be free from mechanical defects and be in safe racing condition. TRACK/PENN OHIO OFFICIALS’ DECISIONS ARE FINAL!

2. ROLL CAGE: Must be minimum 1-1/2” outside diameter and 0.095” minimum wall thickness, no soft metals (aluminum, etc.) allowed. The recommended six-point cage must surround the driver w/ uprights mounted on the right and left sides of the frame behind the driver, one on each side. There are several allowable variations to this basic design, which are subject to the discretion of the technical inspector. Inspector’s decision is final. The four bars joining the four uprights in a horizontal plane above the driver’s head must be at least two inches above the helmet height of the driver when strapped in the car. The front down tubes must be no further than 21-1/2” back of the front body mount and must extend to the front of the top roll cage. There must be at least three horizontal bars on both sides of the car connecting the uprights on the driver’s side of the car in the door cavity and at least one bar must be extended to the outer door skin for added driver protection. These bars must have at least one set of vertical supports between the uprights. The right and left uprights in front of the driver must be connected with at least one horizontal bar at dash height. Additional diagonal support bar on left side of chassis from top front of cage down to side. These are minimum allowable bar requirements and of course more are preferred. All junctions of two or more tubes in the cage should be gusseted for additional strength with at least 1/8” plate steel gussets.

3. SEATS: All cars must be equipped with a safe racing aluminum seat, high back type recommended. Seat must be securely fastened (bolted) to the roll cage and/or frame in six spots, with a minimum of six (6) 3/8” bolts, four (4) on the bottom and two (2) on the seat back. A 5-point harness system. No safety belts over 2 years old.

4. WINDSHIELD SCREEN: Recommended - All cars have a full steel windshield screen of substantial material with a maximum opening on individual holes at 1”x1” (minimum 16 gauge material recommended) and reinforced by a minimum of three (3) steel bars connected to the roll cage on top and the dash support bar on the bottom. Side window net is also recommended.

5. FRONT AND REAR FIREWALLS: Minimum of 22 gauge sheet metal or .040 aluminum.

6. All crews are recommended to carry an operable fire extinguisher capable of extinguishing gas and oil fires.

 7. BATTERY: Battery may be located in any position except inside the cockpit. A BATTERY MASTER SHUT OFF SWITCH MUST BE INSTALLED IN THE DRIVER’S COMPARTMENT AND MUST BE EASILY ACCESSIBLE TO THE SAFETY CREW AND DRIVER.

8. BRAKES: Operable and effective four-wheel hydraulic brakes mandatory at all times. 4 Wheel disc brakes will be allowed, right front shutoff allowed. No aluminum brake parts.

9. WHEELS: (NO BLEEDERS) Minimum five (5) oversized lug nuts STEEL only. Steel racing wheels and oversized studs and maximum rim width 10”. Bead lock rims permitted on all 4 corners. NO WIDE 5’s. 10. EXHAUST: No turn down exhaust. No portion of the exhaust to exit the body panels.

11. THROTTLE: Minimum of two (2) springs MANDATORY. All throttle linkages must be made of suitable rod or tubing, no all thread permitted. Throttle stops MANDATORY. Toe loop MANDATORY.

BODY SPECIFICATIONS BODY: Stock steel bodies or aluminum after-market bodies allowed. Body width may not exceed 78” at top of doors or quarters and 86” at bottom of doors and quarters. The maximum roof size is 60” x 60” with a maximum 4” rake. Rear spoiler 78” wide x 6 inches of measure material with no more than 3 supports (see illustration for support) and must be attached solid to the deck. The spoiler cannot be wider than the deck at the rear. All dimensions will be measured from the deck; tolerance for the hinge only. Maximum spoiler angle will be 90 deg to the deck. If a support is used on the rear of the spoiler it must be mounted below the top of the spoiler material a minimum of ½ inch to not count as spoiler material. Rear Deck Height: Maximum 43” from the ground to the top of the deck. Rear sail panels must be the same left and right, either both open or both closed. The sail panel must drop towards the deck at the back edge of the roof panel. Sail panel maximum length at the bottom is 45”. The sail panels cannot connect to the rear spoiler (see illustration). 7” 10” 8” 4” 18 ½” Max. 1.5” All glass and plastic must be removed, no factory hard plastic noses. Noses must not exceed 92” in width anywhere including fender extensions. No extra fins, flares, flanges, ridges, beads, spoilers, turn-ins or turn-outs or anything else that can be construed as an aero advantage will be allowed. CAR NUMBERS MUST BE 18” HIGH ON BOTH SIDES AND ROOF. ALL CARS MUST BE NEATLY LETTERED. THERE WILL BE NO DUPLICATE NUMBERS. FIRST CAR TO REGISTER WILL HAVE THAT NUMBER.

 CHASIS SPECIFICATIONS

 1. FRAME: May use full stock frame or have stock front sub. Box tube may be used from stock sub to rear. After-market reproduction frames are allowed. No round tube chassis permitted. Minimum wheelbase of 105”. (If there is question contact the tech inspector, don’t assume it’s legal.)

2. STEERING: Conventional boxes only NO RACK and PINIONS. Quick release highly recommended. No rag joints in the steering column.

 3. RADIATOR: Only one (1) per car. Must remain in front of the engine in stock location between frame rails.

4. ENGINE LOCATION: Engine set back: will be at its maximum and verified when the center of the number one spark plug hole, on all make engines (furthest cylinder forward) is in line with the center of the top ball joint.

5. TRANSMISSION: Any transmission allowed. Car must be able to move forward and reverse under its own power. If a cast iron case transmission is used on an aluminum or magnesium bell housing, it must either have a rear trans mount or tethered.

6. SCATTER SHIELD: Bell housing scatter shield or steel scatter proof bell housings for standard transmissions recommended. It is also recommended the Automatic transmissions have an explosion blanket.

7. DRIVE SHAFT: All cars must have a 180 degree loop 6 inches behind the front yoke in case of failure made from ¼” x 1” steel. The drive shaft must be painted white. Must have 180 degree strap under rear of shaft. 45” 4” Sail panels and spoiler with supports to resemble this style. Sail panels cannot tie spoiler side supports.

8. REAR END: No quick change differentials, no limited slip or lockers, NO 3 links, torque links, pull bars, lift bars, birdcages, or panhard bars permitted of any sort. NO SPRING ROD OR BISCUIT TYPE TRAILING ARMS OF ANY SORT. a. Rear Suspension: Must be double triangulated 4-link or leaf spring suspension. 4-link (upper links must run from the rear end (pumpkin part) housing inward to outward, lower links must run outward to inward.) b. Trailing Arms: Trailing arm lengths must be between 10”-12 ½” uppers and 17 ½” to 23” lowers (measured from center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole).

9. AXLES: Conventional type or floater style axles permitted. All spindles, hub assemblies and axles STEEL ONLY. No wide 5 patterns permitted. Front…..no late model style spindles, must accept stock-style cast rotors.

10. FRONT END SUSPENSION: Upper and lower control arms, stock, tubular, or adjustable allowed. Weight jacks permitted. Stock sway bars permitted. All Stock mounting points for lower control arms. Spindles must be a cast or forged stock or factory reproduction spindle.

11. SPRINGS: Front springs must be in original location. Rear springs must mount on top of the rear end housing. All springs must be conventional steel springs only (NO COILOVERS of any kind including coilover eliminators). Minimum diameter 4 ½”.

12. SHOCKS: Steel or aluminum non-adjustable (No Schrader valves or Coilovers of any kind allowed). 1 Shock per wheel. Shocks can be mounted on front or back of rear end housing.

13. BUMPERS: Production type bumpers or tubular bumpers. Rear bumpers minimum height 18” from ground to bumper. Maximum tubing size of 2” round or 2x4 box tubing is permitted. Bumpers are mandatory. Bumpers will be up to the discretion of the tech inspector. Bumper ends must not pass outer edge of body and must not have any sharp edges or hook style ends.

14. FUEL TANK: FUEL CELL ONLY!! Fuel cell height 12” minimum from ground to bottom of tank. Fuel cell must be fully encased in a steel container with a minimum recommended thickness of 20 gauge. An optional aluminum container may be used with a minimum recommended thickness of .060”. Fuel cell must retain foam inside. Fuel lines must siphon from top only. Fuel tank vent line must have an in-line one-way valve for the prevention of fuel spillage. Fuel cells must meet FIA/SPEC/FT-3 Specification. Install the vent line so that the fuel does not siphon out. Any capacity fuel cell is allowed and must be square or rectangular in shape only and the fuel pickup must come out the top, not the side. All fuel lines and fittings must be leak proof. Two (2) skid rails must be installed under the fuel cell, running front to rear the entire width of the fuel cell with minimum 1/8” x 2” material. Cell must be securely strapped down by at least two 1/8” x 1” steel straps to existing supports by use of at least 5/16 grade 5 (3 line) bolts. Any fuel cell mounting deemed unsafe can be rejected by the technical inspector.

 15. BALLAST WEIGHT: If ballast weight is needed to make weight, it must be securely bolted and painted white and carry the cars number on it. Use of two ½” grade 5 bolts or greater must be used to bolt on weight. New Rule: Effective immediately, there will be no weight bolted or welded to the rearend housing. No exceptions or excuses.

16. WEIGHT: · GM 602 Crate any tire 2600 lbs · Any c.i. car utilizing 8” tires 2700 lbs · All cars utilizing anything other than 8” tires must weigh 2900 lbs (exception 602 crate cars)

17. TIRES: · Any compound · Maximum tread width 14” flat surface · Grooving and siping permitted

ENGINE RULES:

 Steel Block, Steel Heads 88958602

Crate Engine: This engine has a part number for each item sold; any item is subject to inspection. All part numbers and casting numbers must be visible for inspection. GM engine seal bolts must be in place or be sealed by a Crate Racin’ USA, RUSH or FASTRAK certified builder.

GM 604 is allowed but must meet all GM specifications and be factory sealed or sealed by a certified RUSH or Crate USA rebuilder. (All 604’s MUST WEIGH 2900 lbs unless on 8” tires)

 A. CAMSHAFT: Any make hydraulic, solid flat tappet or roller camshaft allowed.

B. INTAKE MANIFOLD: Any open plenum or dual plane intake permitted.

C. CARBURETOR: Carbureted engines only one four barrel.

D. INGITION: No Mechanical or electrical adjustments from cockpit. No traction control devices. Must run a distributor. No LS style set up.

 E. LUBRICATION SYSTEM: Wet sump systems only. OEM Oil Pump Systems (use of oil coolers will be permitted as long as they are mounted outside of the cock pit area).

F. WATER PUMP: Stock-type, belt driven.

G. FUEL PUMP: Stock mount pumps, no electric pumps.

H. FUEL: Gasoline and E85 ONLY! No additives. Subject to testing.

 I. TRACTION CONTROL: NO traction control of any kind, mechanical or electronic.

PENN OHIO PRO STOCK SERIES/Track Officials reserve the right to confiscate any part of the ignition system for further inspection.

PENN OHIO PRO STOCK SERIES/Track Officials also reserve the right to install a distributor or MSD 6 series box if traction control is suspected. If parts are confiscated, prize money and points will be held until results of inspection are known. All legal parts will be returned within 5 days. Violation of any of these rules will result in disqualification.

TECH INSPECTIONS: After the feature each night, the winner, possibly second and third place, and/or one random selected car will be checked. Any weight infractions will result in no points, no pay for the night. NOTE: The preceding rules and regulations are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable standards and requirements for such events. By participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules and regulations. No expressed and/or implied warranty or safety assurance shall result from publication of, or compliance with, the preceding rules and regulations. They are intended as a guide and are in no way a guarantee to any participant, driver or official, against injury or death. Any of the preceding rules may be subject to revision if it is felt that the change would be in the best interest of safety or the Division. Penn Ohio/Track Officials have the right to make decisions and to rule accordingly, in the interest of safety, without recourse from drivers and/or owners. Penn Ohio/Track Officials will decide anything not covered in the preceding rules and regulations if, and when, it becomes necessary.

All drivers are required to have a one way radio. The one way radio must be working and active prior to any “on track” activity. Two-way radios, crew-member to driver and/or any other means of electronic communication, other than the one-way radio, will not be permitted.


1. BODY:

No composite or plastic body panels allowed except roof rock guard and hood and skirting scoop.  Body must be same width, front to rear, and parallel to OEM frame. Aluminum nose panel must be flat. Maximum 2.250” side fins allowed on aluminum nose. IMCA-approved plastic nose pieces allowed. Plastic nose must be mounted in an approved manner and can extend no further back than front of hood. Nose piece must remain inside confines of front bumper and be no lower than two inches below frame horns. Cooling holes allowed. Engine compartment must remain open (no side panels). Hood must be level or sloped down at front, enclosed and maximum two inches above interior deck at rear. No panel in front of right door to engine compartment. No inner panels. No car covers. Must have front and rear roof support posts. Driver and passenger side windows must have at least 12” opening (height and width), measured at center of window, between lowest point at top and highest point at bottom. Sail panels may not extend ahead of back of seat. May use Lexan in sails panels. Roof must be fiberglass or aluminum, full size and rounded down in all directions (see diagram). No dished roofs allowed. Driver roof hatch allowed. Maximum 1.5” rolled down rock guard allowed on roof front. Maximum 4” roof sides allowed. Maximum 1” ridge down sides of roof. Maximum 1” rear roof stiffener (must face down). Rear spoiler permitted, rear spoiler surface-8”, maximum total material, by 68” max width. A ¾” maximum break-over at the top edge is allowed. Spoiler may not be wider than the car. A maximum of three side spoiler supports may be used. Spoiler recommended to be made of transparent material. No additional fins, lips, or wings allowed. Maximum 4” plastic skirting allowed on bottom of doors and quarters. No reflective doors or quarter panels. Body may be maximum 1” outside of rear tires (both sides) for clearance. Car number must be minimum 4” thick and 20” tall and clearly visible, on both sides and roof of car, 6” tall on rear and front if possible.

2. FRAME: 1950 or newer OEM perimeter American rear-wheel drive passenger car frame only. No sports car frames. Frame may stop at mid plate of engine, remainder must be full and complete, cannot be widened or narrowed, and must be able to support roll cage on both sides. Exceptions are: weight jack in original center line of spring tower allowed; frame may be cut a maximum 36” forward from center of rear end housing; horns may be removed in front of steering box and notched maximum one inch at bottom for tie rod clearance; front crossmember may be notched and boxed for radiator and/or steering clearance; maximum seven inch wide opening in side of spring tower for spring removal. Maximum 2” wide by 4” tall frame stiffener may be welded directly to outside of left side frame rail. Minimum wheelbase 108”, maximum 112” both sides. Maximum overall width shall not exceed 78” from outside of tire to outside of tire. No part of frame can be lower than 4”from ground.

3. ROLL CAGE: Must consist of continuous hoops, minimum 1.5” O.D. tubing, with minimum wall thickness of 0.095” for main cage, frame-mounted in at least six places. Recommended: low carbon or mild steel. Must consist of a configuration of front, rear and top hoops connected by tubing on sides or side hoops. Driver’s head must not protrude outside cage with helmet on. Roll cage must be securely supported and braced with minimum one cross bar in top halo. Foot protection bar required. Main cage no further forward than rear of engine. All bars forward of cage must be lower than hood.

 
4. DOOR BARS: All driver side door bars and uprights must be minimum 1.5” O.D. with 0.083” wall thickness. Minimum three driver side door bars, parallel to ground and perpendicular to driver, and welded to front and rear of roll cage. Passenger side must have at least one cross door bar, horizontal or angled, minimum 1.25” O.D. with 0.083” wall thickness, and one top door bar, minimum 1.5” O.D. with 0.083” wall thickness. Steel door plate, 18 gauge or 0.049” minimum thickness, must be securely welded to outside of driver side door bars and cover area from top door bar to bottom door bar and from rear hoop down-post to 5” in front of seat. Must be visible for inspection.

5. DRIVER COMPARTMENT: Must have minimum three windshield bars in front of driver. Lexan or aluminum cowl panel in front of driver can be no wider than cockpit and no farther back than steering wheel. Minimum 0.125” aluminum, or 0.060” steel, complete floor pan required. Aluminum high-back seat only and must be bolted in, using minimum 0.375” bolts, next to left side frame rail and ahead of rear tires. Bottom of seat can be no lower than bottom of frame rail. Driver must be sealed off from track, driveline, engine, fuel cell, canisters and pumps. Oil coolers must not protrude above interior. Accumulators cannot be mounted between driver and left-side door bars. No driver adjustable devices allowed while car is in competition except brake adjuster. No mirrors of any kind.

6. SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Rules apply at all times car is on track. Snell-rated SA2005 or SA2000 helmet required. Roll bar padding required in driver compartment. Recommended: Fire retardant padding. SFI-approved full fire suit required. Fire retardant gloves, shoes and neck brace (or head and neck restraint) required. Right and left seat head supports required if using head and neck restraint system. Recommended: Fire retardant head sock and underwear, collapsible steering shaft. Driver side window net required, minimum 16” x 20” ribbon or mesh style, and must be mounted to roll cage so latch is at top front of window. Minimum three inch (two inch with head restraint system) wide SFI approved five point safety belt assembly required, must be mounted securely to main roll cage. Recommended: Safety belts no more than two years old. Kill switch required within easy reach of driver and must be clearly marked “OFF” and “ON”.

7. FRONT SUSPENSION:  All components must be steel. Steel aftermarket parts may be used as stock components as long as they mount in the stock location. Tubular upper and lower control arms are permitted. Upper A-frames may be moved and have aluminum cross shafts.

8. STEERING: No rack and pinion. All components must be steel, unaltered OEM, in OEM location. Exceptions are: outer tie rod end and adjustment sleeve may be replaced by a minimum 0.625” steel rod end and steel tube; spindles can be ground for brake caliper clearance only; bolt on spindle savers allowed; steel steering shafts and knuckles only; driver compartment steering may be modified, must be kept on left side. Spindles must be right and left, and of same design. Quick release required- steering quickener and steering wheel may be aluminum. Idler arm, pitman arm, and center link must match frame.

9. SHOCKS:  No front coil-over, air or remote reservoir shocks.

10. SPRINGS:  One steel, non-progressive coil spring per wheel only. One additional spring allowed on pull bar, may be progressive. All coil springs must be must at least 4.5” O.D. No torsion bars, air bags, inner liners or spring rubbers allowed. Steel or composite leaf spring allowed.

11. REAR SUSPENSION:  No independent rear suspension. No covers allowed. All trailing arms/link bars must be solid tubing, may be steel or aluminum. Rear of frame may be altered to accept leaf or coil springs. Steel coil-over eliminators or steel or aluminum coil-over kits allowed-must conform to shock and spring rules. One mechanical traction pull bar allowed. No lift, brake or sway bars. Rubber bumpers allowed on pull bar or panhard bar only. Solid safety chains securely mounted frame to axle housing only (cannot be mounted to any floating device), no springs or rubbers allowed. Minimum 19” long panhard bar, measured straight line center to center.

12. REAR END: Any steel approved OEM passenger car or truck non-cambered rear end (housing and carrier) allowed. Safety hubs (floater) allowed. 1” inspection hole required in housing. Full steel spool, steel mini spool or welded rear ends only. Steel axles only. Quick change rear ends permitted. One piece drive flange only. No torque dividing differentials. No scalloped ring gears.

13. BUMPERS: (See diagram) Steel bumpers must be on front and rear and welded, or securely mounted with minimum 0.375” bolts. Rear bumper must be capped, constructed of solid square, or minimum 1.25” O.D. tubing with 0.095 wall thickness (similar to diagram), maximum 6” beyond rear deck, no wider than 5” outside of rear frame rails. If wider than 5” outside rear frame rails must be bent forward 90 degrees, or constructed in a loop design. Must have at least one upright, minimum 1.25” with 0.065 wall thickness, from bumper to fuel cell guard. Two-bar  front bumper must be minimum 1.25” O.D. tubing with minimum 0.065 wall thickness (maximum 0.095”)mounted frame-end to frame-end, no wider than width of material outside frame horns and with bottom loop parallel to ground. Top bar must be directly above bottom bar, minimum 6.5” apart, measured center to center.

14. TIRES/WHEELS: Any 15”x8” Hoosier or American Racer tire allowed. No chemical softening, conditioning. Aluminum, composite or steel spacers allowed. May use a bead lock, on right side only. External, steel bead lock only and it cannot make wheel any narrower than 8” and no wider than 8.75”. Foam type or plastic outer mud cover allowed on all wheels. Must be securely mounted.

15. BRAKES: Must operate at all times on all 4 wheels. Brakes shut off are permitted. Calipers maybe steel or aluminum single piston OEM steel only. Steel rotors only. 

16. EXHAUST: Round tube headers only. All primary header tubes must enter directly into one collector at same point at end of header. Collector length maximum 9”. Turn down (maximum 10”) allowed.

17. FUEL SYSTEM: One naturally aspirated two-or four-barrel carburetor only. No type of fuel injection allowed. Two carburetor throttle return springs are required. Mechanical or belt driven fuel pump only. Racing fuel cell required, maximum 32 gallon capacity, must be mounted by at least two steel straps, no less than 2” wide x 1/8” thick all the way around the cell. The use of 1”x1”x0.65 wall sq. tubing is recommended. Using a minimum of two bars around the top, bottom and sides of the fuel cell. All fuel cells must be mounted securely to the frame. No part of the fuel cell should be lower than the protective tubing. Protective tubing should be no wider than 6” on both sides of the cell. Cells must have check valves, and bladders are highly recommended. Fuel cells with bottom feed pickups are no permitted. Retrofitting a bottom feed cell will be permissible, but bottom feed opening must be plugged. A cap on the exposed bottom fitting will not be acceptable as plugging.

 
18. FUEL: Gasoline or alcohol racing fuel allowed. NO performance-enhancing additives. Upper cylinder lube allowed with alcohol only. Fuel sample may be taken from any car at any time.

19. WEIGHT: Minimum weight limit of 2,400 pounds, no tolerance, after race with driver in the car. NO weights and/or loose objects in the driver’s compartment, above interior deck or outside body. Weights must be securely mounted to the frame or roll cage and painted white with car number on it. Must be attached with at least two 0.5 inch bolts.

20. BATTERY/STARTER: One battery only, must be securely mounted, outside of driver’s compartment. Car must have capability of starting unaided on demand, without being pushed ot pulled.

21. ELECTRONICS: No unapproved cameras, transmitting or listening devices (exception is one-way RACEceiver radio by officials), timing retard controls, or digital gauges (including tach). No electronic monitoring computer devices capable of storing or transmitting information except memory recall analog tach. No unapproved or additional ignition accessories allowed. All components must be out of reach of driver, but with rev control easily accessible facing up or out for inspection. All wiring must be visible for inspection. No electronic traction control devices.

22. TRANSMISSION/DRIVESHAFT: (A) 3 speed, 4 speed manual, and automatic types are allowed. Aftermarket racing transmissions are allowed as recognized by the track. No “IN and OUT” boxes. With motor running and car in a still position, driver must be able to engage car and move forward, the stop and engage car and move backwards. No type of quick change transmissions permitted. (B) O.E.M type transmissions, with stock type single disc in bell housing, must be equipped with explosion proof steel bell-housing. (C) If an explosion proof type bell housing is not available for your engine, or if you prefer, you may construct a shield of at least ½”x6”steel covering the clutch area 180 degrees, and be securely fastened.

23. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rear of engine (bell housing flare) must be mounted at least 72” forward from the centerline of rear axle. Engine offset must be kept within 2” of centerline of front cross member with engine level. Minimum 11” engine height from ground to center of crankshaft. Radiator must be mounted in the front of the engine. Cooling system may be modified. Exhaust system must be mounted in such a way as to direct spent gases away from the cockpit, and away from areas of possible fuel spillage. 

24. ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS: Any American made engine permitted. Engine blocks must be steel, no lightweight engine blocks are allowed. All engines must be able to be used in a conventional passenger car without alterations. Engine “cast in” mount locations cannot be removed or altered. Castings and fitting must not be altered. No machine works on outside of engine, or on the front or rear of the camshaft. “Wet” sump oiling system only and must be operative. Battery type ignitions only. NO magnetos allowed. Maximum of one ignition system and/ or multiple spark discharge box allowed. An ignition system includes, but is not limited to: multiple spark discharge box, coil, battery, etc. One spark plug per cylinder. 
Crate Engine:  Must use unaltered sealed GM #88958604 crate engine upon inspection, any different, altered or missing GM seal bolts will result is disqualification. All cars utilizing a GM604 crate engine must clearly display on both front roof posts the word CRATE.  Lettering must be contrasting in color from body, minimum 2” letters. Markers are not acceptable. Crate cars will receive 100lb weight brake.

25. TECHNICAL PROCEDURES: 
A. Any competing car must be presented to the tech man or tech area upon request. Only the driver or some competent official may accompany the car during the procedure.
B. No feature will be declared official until the tech man is satisfied.
C. All technical protests must be made with the tech official within 10 minutes of the completion of the race. The winner is the only car who may be protested-In order to make a protest against the winner; the protesting car must finish in the top five and on the lead lap. 
D. Any protests must be made to the proper official in an orderly and dignified manner. Protests of the winner will be allowed only if the presented coherently and as the teach team seems fit. In the event of multiple protests will we determine the order of importance and select if which if any we choose to omit.
E. Fees: Protesting car must put up a $200 nonrefundable supervisory fee, additional items include $200 to pump engine, $250 per part protested, $500 to remove head, $1500 for complete tear down.
F. Any other violation found during the inspection that was no part of the protest will still result in a disqualification.

26. PENALTIES: The technical rules contained here have been assembled with great concern toward maximizing competition and minimizing costs. Rule violations will not be tolerated. Major violations will result in disqualification, loss of points, and prize money earned. Depending on the severity and the intent on the violation, there could be a suspension from future racing activities at the speedway. Minor violations will be considered major if they are not corrected in the grace period allowed by the tech considered official until we are satisfied. Any claiming must be done in an orderly manner, in cash, and under the conditions previously specified.  If at any time the conduct of any team member, driver or associate becomes a discredit to the speedway, the sport, or himself, they will be removed from all racing activity on the track. Owners/Drivers are responsible for the behavior of all the individuals associated with the car and may suffer similarly. These rules have been designed to facilitate the orderly conduct of and establish minimum and maximum requirements for the events. No express or implied warranty of safety shall result from publication or compliance with these regulations. 
Management is empowered to, at their discretion, deviate from specifications described herein. Management reserves the right to update these regulations at their discretion, in the in interest of the cost, safety, or fairness. Management’s interpretations of these regulations will always be considered final.
